About the Academy
En Pointe Dance Academy was founded in 2017 with one clear purpose, to provide high-quality, examination based dance education in a welcoming and professional environment. Starting from St. Marks Church, the Academy has grown steadily and is now based at our purpose-built studio in Hillington Industrial Estate, Glasgow, where we serve our community of over 80 students.
Every class at EPDA is delivered by fully qualified teachers who combine deep technical knowledge with a genuine passion for nurturing potential in every student. Working with children from 2 and a half upwards, to our most advanced Performers, there is a place for every child at EPDA.
Friendly & Inclusive
We welcome dancers of all ages and abilities. Our classes are positive, supportive, and designed to build confidence alongside technique.
Technically Excellent
All classes are taught by BATD-qualified teachers following nationally recognised syllabi. Technical foundations are at the heart of everything we do.
Rich in Opportunity
From annual BATD examinations to our Summer Show and external programmes, EPDA students are given every opportunity to perform, progress, and excel.
British Association of Teachers of Dancing
All EPDA classes are taught to BATD syllabi. The BATD are one of the UK’s most respected dance examination boards. Our membership ensures consistent, high-quality teaching standards and nationally recognised qualifications for our students.
Progressing Ballet Technique
EPDA is proud to have been the first dance school in Renfrewshire offering the world-renowned Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) programme. PBT is an innovative body-conditioning and muscle-memory format integrated across all of our Ballet classes.
