Yesterday afternoon our Performers Ballet Classes were invited along to Blackwood Care Home in Cardonald to perform for the residents. Our girls showcased not only their Ballet, but some Highland and Jazz as well and helped to brighten the residents Sunday afternoon with their performances! BATD Junior Ballet Scholarships 2024 ✨ Congratulations to our students Tilda and Brooke who took part in a very competitive Junior Ballet Scholarship today here in Newcastle. The girls were nominated by our examiner in February to compete today and both girls technique and artistry shone on the floor! A special congratulations to Tilda who received a recall into the top 25 of 80 competitors! I could not be any prouder of both girls who represented the school beautifully - WELL DONE!!! 🩵🩰✨

Sub-Junior PBT Taster Session - Wednesday 2nd August @ 12.15-1.00pm Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) is a strength and conditioning programme designed for dancers to enhance their Ballet training and is a class that we encourage all our Ballet pupils from P3 and above to take part in. This session is open to those going into P3 or P4 in August who are either interested in joining our PBT classes or have signed up already to start in August. This introductory session will let you experience what a PBT class is all about, with help from some of our current PBT students who can tell you all about their experience with the programme. We will also hold a short Q&A session for parents for the last 10 minutes so you can also ask any questions you may have! No equipment required to take part in this FREE taster session!
